Riga

Riga is the capital of Latvia and is located in the eastern part of Northern Europe on the Baltic Sea.
Crossed by many commercial routes, the city of Riga was founded by the Germans in 1202 and soon became the largest and most pleasant capital on the eastern cost of the Baltic Sea.
The high cultural and historical value of “Old Riga” has confirmed its inclusion in the UNESCO list of places of cultural and natural heritage in the world.
Latvia was the first Baltic State to become a member of the World Trade Organization.
Since May 1, 2004 Latvia is part of the European Union.
